The benefits of ice rolling your face

One skincare hack that I am completely obsessed with is ice rolling. This has quickly become a non-negotiable for me in my morning routine. It feels amazing and helps wake me up. I’ve heard people say “it’s like a shot of espresso to the face” and that couldn’t be more true. I don’t just ice-roll my face because it feels good, though. There are tons of benefits to ice rolling and we’re going to get deep into those.

I’ve tried a couple of different ice rollers on the market and by far the very best one is The Skinny Confidential Hot Mess Ice Roller. It sits nicely in the hand, has an indent for your thumb, and rolls unbelievably well on the face. This specific ice roller has been a game-changer for me.

If you’re new to ice rolling and you want to try it out and see how you like it before committing to the Hot Mess Ice Roller, try one from Amazon. I started off with one from Amazon and it was a great start for me. However, the ones I used on Amazon didn’t roll as easily and nicely as the Hot Mess Ice Roller.

Let’s get into the benefits of ice rolling:

  • shrinks the look of pores, wrinkles, and fine lines
  • reduces puffiness
  • reduces redness
  • helps with lymphatic drainage
  • stimulates blood circulation
  • soothes irritation such as breakouts and itching
  • promotes tightening of the skin

I was skeptical before I started ice rolling because I didn’t think something as simple as ice rolling could be that beneficial, but it truly has made a huge difference in my skin.

How to clean your ice roller:

  • gentle soap
  • washcloth
  • warm water

It’s that easy. Get it sudsy and wipe it up. Rinse really well and you’re good to go. Make sure it’s completely dry before putting it back in the freezer.

If you’re going to get the Hot Mess Ice Roller, I also recommend getting the sleeping bag. It’s a little bag for you to store your ice roller in when you place it in the freezer. It keeps your ice roller free from bacteria and food smells.

Have I convinced you to start ice rolling yet?!
