Let’s Talk Enneagram

Can we talk Enneagram?! If you’ve never heard of this, then you need to read this post and then head over to https://www.enneagraminstitute.com/ and take the Enneagram test to find out your personality type. The results from this test are freaky accurate. Seriously, you need to take this test! 

There are 9 personality types on the Enneagram. Here’s a list of the 9 types:

1. The Reformer
2. The Helper
3. The Achiever
4. The Individualist
5. The Investigator
6. The Loyalist
7. The Enthusiast
8. The Challenger
9. The Peacemaker

I am a 3, The Achiever, through and through! Descriptions of a 3 include being self-assured, ambitious, competent, and energetic. Threes can also be status-conscious and highly driven for advancement. At their best, they are self-accepting, authentic, and role models who inspire others. While all of that makes threes sound great, there are also some less fabulous aspects of this personality type. Threes can be overly concerned with their image and what others think of them. (Guilty!) Typically threes experience workaholism and competitiveness, in an extreme way. 

Threes are usually willing to work really hard towards success and to do great things, which has a lot to do with their focus on believing in themselves and developing their talents and capacities. They will never allow themselves to be considered a “nobody”.
