If you’re anything like me, then you probably don’t eat enough vegetables in a day (oops). I am the first person to admit that I need to incorporate more into my diet. The best way for me to trick my taste buds into enjoying veggies is to throw them in my smoothies! Smoothies are potentially the easiest thing you can make, so they’re perfect for me because I am truly a novice in the kitchen. I buy most of my smoothie fixings’ at Sam’s Club because they have large quantities, which lasts quite a while for me. I don’t really do exact portions when I make these. I just eyeball it and hope for the best.
You can find my three favorite smoothie recipes below.
Tropical Smoothie
- Mango
- Pineapple
- Spinach
- Amazing Grass Green Superfood (greens powder)
- Almond Milk (I like vanilla, unsweetened)
- Cinnamon
Berry Bliss
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Cauliflower (I swear you can’t taste it)
- Almond Milk (vanilla, unsweetened)
And my ultimate favorite smoothie…
Peanut Butter Banana
- Banana
- Peanut Butter
- Spinach
- Amazing Grass Green Superfood (greens powder)
- Almond Milk (vanilla, unsweetened)
Sometimes I add protein powder to my smoothies If I’m in the mood for it. I always use Tone It Up vanilla protein. It’s plant-based and has a subtle taste, which I love. I also sometimes add in powder collagen (if I remember to). I like Vital Proteins unflavored collagen powder. It has no taste and blends well.
Because I’m a picky eater, smoothies have been a game-changer for me. I always feel refreshed and energized after drinking one. Let me know if you try one of these!
