Having my nails done is an absolute must, but I also don’t love spending $80+ every two weeks on them. I tried using press-on nails because they looked like they would be a good alternative but they would only stay on for 3-4 days. I then found the best glue on nails and I am in love!
I like to keep my nails short and simple. It’s just what works best for me. Sometimes I’ll do a fun design but I always keep mine nice and short.
I personally LOVE using the Kiss Salon Acrylic French Nude nails in length ‘real short’. They’re subtle and look natural. You can shop them and other lengths/shapes here.
Instead of using the glue that comes in the box, I use the Kiss Brush on nail glue. This glue is truly a game-changer. Definitely worth it to buy it separately. It lasts forever, too. I’ve been using the same bottle for about 6 months now.
Here’s a few tips for applying the nails:
- File the entire nail before applying any glue
- When choosing nails for each finger, use a fake nail that is slightly smaller than your natural nail
- Apply glue to both your natural nail and on the back of the fake nail
- Press for about 10 seconds to ensure the nail is stuck on well
Remember this is what works for me and may not necessarily work for you. We’re all different!
