I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of denim for quite some time now. Honestly, I think I’ve found some really great options that will look good on any body type. I thought it would be helpful to try out different brands of jeans and do a comparison for you. Different brands, different price points, and slightly different styles. Spoiler alert: I’m a BIG fan of all of them.
Old Navy – I typically lean towards darker wash denim because I find them to be more flattering on my body, but I really love this pair. They’re slightly distressed, which I prefer over denim that has tears allll over. The denim is somewhat stretchy, making them pretty comfortable. The only downfall to these is that there is some gapping in the back, but nothing a belt can’t fix.
Abercrombie – I’ve always liked how Abercrombie jeans fit. The denim is harder (if that makes sense?) which helps them keep their shape, which I love. I find that the Curve Love has some tummy control without being uncomfortable. For this particular pair, I love all of the details that make them unique and fun! I went with the normal length (which I somewhat regret) so I recommend if you’re shorter going with their short length. I’m 5’3 for reference.
American Eagle – AE is always a win for me. I’ve had these jeans for 2 years now and they’re still some of my most worn jeans. They’re versatile which is super important for me when it comes to denim. The holes in the knees are about as big as I like to go with distressing. These are probably the most comfortable out of the three we’re focusing on today.

I love these looks! Do you have any recommendations for jeans that aren’t distressed and can be worn to the office?
