As we all know, I love trying new makeup products! After purchasing quite a few different brands of makeup, I can honestly say that Tarte is one of my favorite brands. Their products are just about always a success for me. I recently purchased some different products they offer that I don’t normally use in my everyday repertoire but thought I would give them a try and review them! My honest opinions on these products are detailed below.
Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation: I had high hopes for this product because who wouldn’t want a hydrating foundation?! Unfortunately, I did not fall in love with this foundation like I wanted to. I feel as if the hydrating version of this foundation has significantly less coverage than their original shape tape foundation, which for me, coverage is highly important. I will not be re-purchasing this product because of the coverage aspect, but it definitely is hydrating.
Shape Tape Concealer: My tried and true concealer!! Seriously the best concealer I have used. I am hooked on this product! Whether I use this to cover blemishes or for my under eyes, I am always satisfied with how it looks. If you have not tried this concealer yet, what are you doing?! Jump on board!!
Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder: This powder is one of the best I have tried. It has just the right amount of coverage without feeling like it is clogging your pores. I find this powder to be the best finishing touch to my face no matter what foundation I use.
Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner: I am always a fan of a liquid eyeliner and this one is amazing! It goes on smooth and doesn’t have any fall out while drying. It dries quickly and gives a sharp, cat eye look! You cannot go wrong with this product.
Opening Act Lash Primer: I really wanted to love this product but unfortunately I will not be purchasing this product again. My eyelashes are extremely straight so I was hoping that this primer would be just what I was needing to get my lashes to look curled and fabulous. It really just weighed my lashes down and made them feel thick and heavy.
Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick: Run, don’t walk to buy this product!! I am obsessed (literally) with these lipsticks. They are so hydrating and last hours. This is my go-to lipstick for every day wear! I love colors Salt Lyfe, Rum Punch and Pink Lemonade.
Hair Goals Dry Shampoo: I am an avid dry shampoo user (no shame!) This dry shampoo is not my all-time favorite mostly because of the scent. It gets the job done, though!
