I absolutely love trying out new beauty products. Sometimes I find some amazing products that I don’t know how I lived my life without it and sometimes I find some duds. It’s so satisfying to fully finish a bottle of literally anything. It makes me feel like I truly got my money’s worth.
Here is a compiled list of the best and worst products on the market. (Here is another list of beauty empties that I’ve reviewed.)
- Kosas Concealer: 10/10 concealer! I love the coverage this provides and it’s also really hydrating. I personally use this as an under-eye concealer and I think it has such a dewy, but full-coverage finish. I just finished a bottle of shade 02W. Next time I plan to get a lighter shade for even more brightness on my under eyes.
- Tula Filter Primer: I love this primer because it really blurs my pores and feels hydrating on the skin. I have shade sunrise and it’s buildable and wears like a tinted moisturizer. I think this is a great product but it’s not one that I reach for every day.
- Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: 10/10 product. This gives your skin such a pretty, glowy finish. I love using this under foundation because it gives you a dewy finish all day long. I also like to wear it alone if I want a really clean, simple makeup look.
- Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer: This is a great affordable bronzer. It lasts forever and they have a ton of shades you can pick from. While I like this product, I think there are much better bronzers on the market.
- The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer: I really wanted to love this primer but I find it sticky and I don’t think it holds product well. I’ve noticed that whenever I use it, my makeup slides around on my face.
- It Cosmetics CC Cream: I love this foundation so much. It has been one of my favorite foundations for years now. It is very full coverage and buildable. It also has SPF 50 so it’s a win-win.
- Ilia Blue Light Filter Mist: I usually love Ilia products, but this one is a no for me. I think the mister part of the bottle needs improvement because it sprays out abruptly and doesn’t actually mist. Also, I don’t think it really does anything for my skin.
- Kristin Ess Dry Shampoo Powder: I really wanted to love this dry shampoo because it has clean ingredients but I don’t think it works well at all. I have to use a lot of product for it to soak up any oil. I think there are better options out there.
- innisfree sunscreen: Obsessed with this sunscreen. It’s probably the best sunscreen I’ve ever tried. It has SPF 36 in it and I use it daily. It never leaves a white cast and wears so well under makeup. 10/10 I love it!
- Coola Makeup Setting Sunscreen Spray: I really like this setting spray but it’s a little expensive for what it is in my opinion. It has a pretty harsh “sunscreen” smell but I do think it works really well. I will probably rebuy this but it most likely won’t be an everyday product for me.
