If you’ve been on TikTok, Instagram, or Pinterest in the last year then you have probably seen some of the hype The Ordinary products have been getting.
This skincare brand blew up on TikTok and honestly it took me a while to jump on the bandwagon but oh my goodness, I am so glad that I did. I currently use three of their products religiously and plan on continuing with those plus adding in some other The Ordinary products to my routine.
The number one reason The Ordinary gets as much hype as it does is that it’s incredibly affordable. Like really, really affordable. (Not just another blogger saying “You have to try this new product it’s so good and so affordable! And then says it’s $50+) The three products I am reviewing here are all under $15. And they’re all pretty legit.
Something to note: My skin had to get worse before it got better. I had to adjust to the new products like you would to most any skincare products. So don’t stress if your skin reacts to the new products right at first, but if it continues, stop using and consult a physician.

Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution – This toner costs a whopping $8.70. And it will clear out your pores so well. I’ve been using the same bottle for 2 months and it’s not even halfway gone. It will last you a long time! This toner acts as a mild exfoliator which will give you visible clarity on your skin. It has a little thicker of consistency than most of the other toners I’ve used in the past. It’s. So. Good.
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% – Only $5.90 and I promise it will be the best $5.90 you have ever spent. After about 6 weeks of using this product, my sister asked me if I had gotten Botox (which I have never gotten done) because my forehead looked so smooth and I’m telling you it’s because of this serum. This will smooth out the texture of your skin and will reduce the appearance of blemishes. I use it morning and night.
Salicylic Acid 2% Masque – This incredible product is $12. When I say that I have never used a face mask that has worked as rapidly as this one, trust me! Your skin will feel amazing. You only want to leave this on for about 10 minutes, but that’s really all you need for this to do a deep dive on your skin and make it feel so clean. This mask helps with having a smooth and clear complexion. It will decongest your pores to the point that you can literally feel a difference. Huge fan of this product. If you were to buy one product from The Ordinary, I would say grab this!
